    Joyce Blair, 78, Roaring Branch,  (Jackson Twp.) passed away unexpectedly, March 30, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
    Born June 14, 1936 in Ogdensburg, Joyce Anne was a daughter of the late Archie Carey and Marjorie (Jackson) Carey Gardener and stepdaughter of the late Wayne Gardener.  She was a 1954 graduate of Liberty High School.  
    Joyce was the wife of Joseph Blair for 50 years before his passing on Aug. 27, 2005.

     Winifred A. Harkness Longtime resident of Gillett, PA Was born November 6, 1926 in Elmira, the daughter of the late LaRue Bradford and Winifred Irene (Sterling) Avery, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the age of 88.
    She was a very devoted, loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Wayne C. Harkness; daughter, Sharon H. Sifnakis; granddaughter, Shelly Harkness Holdren; brother, LaRue Avery; niece, Debra Haxton.

Max S. Mott

      Max S. Mott, of Hilltown, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2015. He was 64.
 Born on October 30, 1950, in Canton. Max was one of five children of the late Charles and Grace (Spencer) Mott.  After graduating from Canton Area High School, he obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.          
    On March 6, 1971, he married the love of his life, Beverly (Packard). They established their home in Bucks County, where they proudly raised their four children. Max began his professional career with PKF Construction. After ten years, he left PKF to work with his brother, Sam, as an owner and Vice President of Stone Hill Contracting (SHC). After 25 successful years with SHC, he retired to fulfill his dream of traveling.

     On Friday, March 27th, 2015,   Irene Mae (McNett) Spencer, eldest daughter of   Loren and Edith (Myrick) McNett, passed away quietly at Troy Community Hospital, just five days before her 98th birthday.  She was born in Leolyn, Tioga County at the home of her grandmother, Armenda Landon Griswold, on a hill known as Jacob’s  Ladder.

James E. "Edgie" Wesneski

     On Thursday, March 26th, 2015,  James Edward Wesneski of Troy passed away quietly at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, after a lengthy illness.  He was 69 years of age.  
 Known to family and friends as “Edgie,”  he was born in Blossburg  September 10th, 1945, and was the son of Charles and Helen (Page) Wesneski.  He was raised in Gleason (Union Twp.), and attended Canton Area High School.

Charles (Charlie) Anson McCoy

     Charles (Charlie) Anson McCoy, 88, died peacefully in his sleep on 15 March 2015 at the Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, GA. Charles was born in Powell, PA on 14 December, 1926 to Lloyd and Carmen McCoy.
    His early years were spent in Canton where he attended Canton High School. He joined the Navy in April 1944 at age 17 where he proudly served as a Corpsman on the USS Oneida (APA-221) until his discharge in March 1946.

     Sandra J. Jones, 75, of Troy, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
    Sandra Jane Boyd Jones was born January 28, 1940 in Gleason, PA, one of six children of the late Robert and Eva (Elliot) Boyd.  She was a graduate of Canton High School Class of 1957.  On November 30, 1958, Sandra married Harry Jones at the Grover Church of Christ.  They shared over 56 years together and were blessed with five children.

C. LeRoy Seelye

     Charles Leroy Seelye, 83, Canton passed away peacefully March 24, 2015 at the Bradford County Manor.   He was born April 2, 1931 in Canton, and was the son of Charles and Ruth (Brown) Seelye.  
     In his early years Leroy worked as  a printer in York, PA.  Leroy, along with his wife, the former Irene Reynolds, and family moved back to Canton in 1974.  Leroy worked for the Canton Independent-Sentinel as well as the former Schrader-Bellows Co.  He enjoyed being with family and friends.

    The children of Jane Ferris Mullen celebrate  her passing into the loving arms of Jesus her Savior on March 22, 2015 at the age of 82.
    She was born to Herbert  & Margaret Decker Ferris in Mt Kisco, NY, growing up there and in Bedford Hills NY. While working as a nurses aide she met a "handsome patient" who would  become her husband of 61 years. Moving  to Hialeah, Florida with her mother & step father  she worked  at St Francis Hospital on
Allison Island off Miami Beach.
