    Penny Renstrom, 62, Canton, PA passed away peacefully, August 29, 2015 at the Bradford County Manor.
   Born January 16, 1953 in Sayre, PA, Penny Kay was the daughter of the late Donald and Anna (Graham) Renstrom.
   She was a member of the 1970 graduating class of Canton High School and received a Bachelors degree in Education with a minor in Music from Washington Adventist College in Tacoma Park, MD. Penny worked in the hospital medical records field. She also taught piano lessons for many years.
      She knew her Bible well and following the Lord’s word was her guide through life. Penny was an active member of Canton’s Seventh Day Adventist Church where she loved to play the piano and organ.

Roger Wright

    Roger Gene Wright, 75, Columbia Crossroads, PA passed away, August 29, 2015 at home with his family by his side.
   He was born on January 23, 1940 in Smithfield Twp., PA the son of Roger and Helen Andrus Wright.
   Roger graduated from SRU High School in 1957. He was a Veteran of the US Army. Upon returning from the service, Roger worked at Hardinge, Inc., Elmira, NY. Roger loved spending time with his family and friends, especially attending his grandchildren's events. He was very active in the East Smithfield Little League when his son, David was on the team.

Helen E. Carnright, 82, formerly of Mansfield, died, August 1, 2015 at Bradford County Manor.
She was born July 24, 1933 in Austinville, a daughter of David and Hazel (Hulslander) Sherman. Helen worked at Paper Magic in Troy. She attended Bakerburg Community Church. She loved trains, lighthouses, and covered bridges.

Barry Lee Selfridge

    Barry Lee Selfridge, 61, Granville Summit, Pa., passed away on Aug. 28, 2015 at Troy Community Hospital of a heart attack.
   He was born on April 17, 1954 in Doylestown, Pa. to Leigh and Margaret Selfridge and grew up with two older sisters, Peggy and Barb.
   He was married on Sept. 25, 1976 in Philadelphia, Pa. to Lauren Leslie.
   He attended Hatboro/Horsham schools and Montgomery County Community College.
   He was a self-employed contractor, mechanical draftsman, and presently worked for the PA Wine and Spirits store in Troy, Pa.

MaryAnn Kalo Haverly

MaryAnn Kalo Haverly, 79, of Towanda, PA passed away Tuesday evening, August 25, 2015 at her home.
MaryAnn was born December 6, 1935 in Sayre, the daughter of Steve and Harriet Isabell Kitchen Kalo. In 1952 she married Harold R. Haverly in the Monroeton Methodist Parsonage. MaryAnn’s main interest in life surrounded her family and home. She enjoyed reading and gardening.

Robert L. Smith

Robert L. Smith, 76, Canton, PA (husband of Beverly) passed away on August 25, 2015 in Fox Twp. Sullivan County from injuries received in a farm equipment accident.
Robert Larue, “Bob” to family and friends was born July 13, 1939 in Sayre, PA. He was one of four sons of the late Carl Kay and Eleanor Mae (Wallace) Smith. Bob graduated from Canton High School with the class of 1958 and later served our country in the U.S. Army.
On April 24, 1966, he married the former Beverly Groover in Ogdensburg’s Church of Christ. Bob was employed by the former Schrader Bellows/Parker Hannifin Company in Canton for many years and retired as their Controller.

Graydon Roupp

On the afternoon of August 24, 2015, well known Ralston resident Graydon Roupp,82 passed away quietly at Loyalsock Nursing Home in Montoursville.
Born October 22, 1933, he was the son of Welford and Martha (Botsford) Roupp. Graydon was employed for several years as a machine operator for Textron Corp. He enjoyed playing cards and watching golf and bowling on TV. In earlier years he was an avid bowler and bowled with one of the leagues in Canton. Known for his sense of humor, his often repeated self-assessment, "I’m fat and sassy," was an inaccurate description of his physical frame, but a perfect description of his personality.

Maynard Chomenko

Maynard Chomenko, 88, Lowman, NY, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at ELCOR in Horseheads, NY. He was the loving husband of Hazel (Jackson) Chomenko. The couple married in 1950 and had 65 happy years together.
Maynard was born in Lowman, son of the late John and Victoria (Silowanick) Chomenko. He was a welder for US Steel in Elmira Heights, NY. Maynard enjoyed working around the farm and hunting.

Tyler Richard Brown

Tyler Richard Brown, 27, of Troy, PA passed away unexpectantly on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at his home.
   Tyler was born on March 29, 1988 in Elmira, NY, son of Darl R. and Nancy L. (Hoagland) Brown of Troy, PA.
   He was a 2007 graduate of Troy High School where he was a varsity wrestler and football player.
   Tyler was currently employed by his uncle at Don’s Siding and Windows in Canton, PA.
   He was a past member of the Sylvania Presbyterian Church and was currently attending Fellowship Bible Church in Troy. Tyler enjoyed playing any kind of sport, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family and friends.

    Dale L. Smith, age 63, of Troy, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.
   A memorial gathering to honor Dale’s life will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Milky Way Restaurant, 16867 Route 14 Troy, PA 16947.
