Born October 22, 1933, he was the son of Welford and Martha (Botsford) Roupp. Graydon was employed for several years as a machine operator for Textron Corp. He enjoyed playing cards and watching golf and bowling on TV. In earlier years he was an avid bowler and bowled with one of the leagues in Canton. Known for his sense of humor, his often repeated self-assessment, "I’m fat and sassy," was an inaccurate description of his physical frame, but a perfect description of his personality.
He was a member of the Red Run Rod and Gun Club and a former member of Canton Lodge 429, L.O.O.M.
Surviving are: his wife, the former Dorothy Frey, at home; sons Graydon II (Madelyn) Roupp, Scott (Donna) Roupp and Rick Roupp, all of Reading; daughters Bonnie Sue (Byron) Hall, Hughes
ville; Melissa (John) McGinnis, Clyde, TX, Allyson (Richard) Root, Mansfield and Lindsay Root, Williamsport; brother-in-law George Crawley; sister-in-law, Carol Roupp; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by brother Earl Roupp and sisters Arlene Schaefer, Shirley Richards, Emma Jane Transue and Doris Crawley.
