Penny Renstrom, 62, Canton, PA passed away peacefully, August 29, 2015 at the Bradford County Manor.
Born January 16, 1953 in Sayre, PA, Penny Kay was the daughter of the late Donald and Anna (Graham) Renstrom.
She was a member of the 1970 graduating class of Canton High School and received a Bachelors degree in Education with a minor in Music from Washington Adventist College in Tacoma Park, MD. Penny worked in the hospital medical records field. She also taught piano lessons for many years.
She knew her Bible well and following the Lord’s word was her guide through life. Penny was an active member of Canton’s Seventh Day Adventist Church where she loved to play the piano and organ.

She also taught youth classes and enjoyed fellowship with many dear friends. Though Penny faced several personal hardships, she will be remembered for her spirituality, empathy and kindness. Penny’s cats were like her children. She also enjoyed crafting and all types of music.
Surviving are her Aunt Jessie Herman of Canton and Uncle Paul Machmer of Granville Summit and a multitude of cousins, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents and several aunts and uncles, she was predeceased by a special feline companion, RockC.
Her pastor, Marvin Humbert, will officiate a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. September 20 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at E. Union and Elm Sts. in Canton.
