In his early years Leroy worked as a printer in York, PA. Leroy, along with his wife, the former Irene Reynolds, and family moved back to Canton in 1974. Leroy worked for the Canton Independent-Sentinel as well as the former Schrader-Bellows Co. He enjoyed being with family and friends.
Leroy is survived by daughter Sandy (& Dave) McWilliams of Canton, son Scott (& Cherie) Seelye of Shavertown, PA, grandchildren Derek McWilliams of Culpepper, VA, Josh McWilliams of Canton, Scott (& Brittany) Seelye of Forty Fort, PA, Lauren, Caitlin, Emily and Ryan Seelye all of Shavertown, a daughter-in-law Beth Seelye of Cleveland, Ohio; step-granddaughter Linda Ivanovics and husband Chris; step-great-grandsons Taylor, Zack and Andrew and step-granddaughter Alicia Cotter; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Irene and loving son, Mike and brothers Herman and Robert Seelye.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to their friends, Bradford County Manor, Dr. John Kirkowski, Dr. Kari Wood, and Guthrie Hospice for their prayers, support and many acts of kindness during Leroy’s illness.
