"Sunshine fades and shadows fall, but Sweet remembrance outlasts all….. " William “Bud” I. Secules, 73, long time resident of Towanda PA, passed away unexpectedly the morning of January 26, 2016 at his winter home in Zellwood FL.
Bud was born October 27, 1942 in Sayre PA, the son of the late Leonard & Madeline Secules. Bud was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed spending time attending sporting events cheering on his grandchildren, attending family functions & spending time with numerous friends during the summers at Seneca Lake and at his winter home in Florida. Bud touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all.

Bud retired from Masonite/International Paper Company. He was a life-time member of the Towanda Gun Club, Wysox Fire Company, was very active with the Boy Scouts and was the former President of the Towanda Little League where he spent many years coaching & umpiring. He took pride in working with children and volunteering within the community both in PA and FL. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed attending the races with friends and family.
Bud is survived by his loving wife Mary (Lee) Secules of Towanda PA and Florida; children Tim Secules of NY, Ty (Nicole) Secules of Towanda PA; stepsons Michael (Julie) Green of Flagstaff, AZ, Brad (Amanda) Green of Edmond, OK; sisters Rosaline Turnbull of Hawthorne, CA, Shirley (Ron) Morse of LeRoy PA, Rhea (Ron) Kenyon of Troy PA; grandchildren Michael (Stephanie), Jeremy, Sarah, Nick, Nathan, Tyler & Kaitlyn Secules, Brent Kozak; step-grandchildren Payton, Natalie & Cara Green; great grandchildren Landon & Raelynn Secules, Emma Lynn Kozak; several nephews and their families also survive.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Shirley Canfield Secules and son William Todd Secules.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Main St., Towanda PA.
Private burial services will be held at a later date.
