William Franklin Winebarger, “Frank” to family and friends, was born on September 21, 1952 in Boone, NC, one of ten children of the late Arlie H. Winebarger and Hazel G. (Ray) Winebarger Morgan.
Most recently Frank worked as a self-employed logger. In earlier years he owned and operated Canton’s United Auto Service garage. Frank was knowledgeable in woodworking and several construction trades; building his own home in VA. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and camp. He was well known for the Christmas wreaths he made from wild princess pine for his many family and friends. Frank also especially enjoyed times spent riding motorcycles and traveling.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three siblings; Shirley Castle, Lena Swain and Jimmy Winebarger.
The funeral was held on August 23rd, at Pepper Funeral Home, Canton, with minister John Wile officiating the funeral services. Burial followed in Beech Flats Cemetery in Canton Twp., PA.
