Willard (Bill) R. Wright Jr., 86, passed away on Saturday August 26, 2017 at his home. He was born in Auburn, NY on November 24, 1930 the son of the late Willard R Wright Sr. and Catherine Gleason Wright.
He graduated from Union Springs High School and then attended Cornell University. He was a farmer all of his life.
He married Doris Best on January 21, 1961.
He was a member of the Mitchellsville Methodist Church, life long member of the FFA, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Doris Wright; daughter Jackie Wright; two grandsons, Joshua Thomas Persichilli and Matthew Richard Persichilli; great grandchildren Brian, Joshua, Tyler, Maddux, Brantly and Makayla; two brothers, Robert Wright and Bernie Wright; a sister Donna Wright, and many nieces and nephews.
Bill’s request was no calling hours or services.
Memorials maybe made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are being handled by Bond-Davis Funeral Home of Bath.
