Mr. Wilburn E. Porter, 94, passed away December 26, 2017 in Wauchula, FL.
Mr. Porter was born in Shunk on February 7, 1923 and moved to Fort Meade, FL fulltime from Canton, PA in 2000, after being a winter visitor for many years. He was a retired home furnishing retailer and a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Fort Meade.
Mr. Porter was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Norma Porter; son, Eugene C. Porter.

He is survived by his son, James Porter of Miami, FL; daughters, Pam O’Brien of Winter Springs, FL, Judith Lepper of LeRoy, and Tina Ryan of Canton; ten grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services was held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL with Rev. Joe Parrish officiating.
Interment will be in the East Canton Cemetery.
