Born May 2, 1965 in Elmira, NY, Vonda Kay was a daughter of Ron and Marcia (Hurlburt) Roblyer of Troy. She was a member of Troy High School’s 1983 graduating class. Vonda married Brad S. Wilcox on February 16, 1985 in Canton and they raised two sons. She enjoyed her work as a graphic artist and for Sprint Communications. She was a member of Canton’s Women of the Moose Lodge.
Love and support for family, home and friends always came first in Vonda’s life. She was of the Baptist faith. Vonda enjoyed doing many things, but special interests included her love for all animals, riding horses, cooking and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, surviving is Brad, her beloved husband of 31 years; children, Justin Wilcox (fiancé, Billie Marie Dorsey) and Nicholas (Tabatha) Wilcox all of Canton; granddaughters, Amaya and Emma both of North Carolina; sister and brother, Kim (Walter) Smith, Nazareth and Shawn (Judy) Roblyer, Allentown; father-in-law, Ralph (Leora) Wilcox, Canton; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark (Luann) Wilcox, Wheelerville, Nancy (Barry) Groves, Montoursville and Brenda (Allen) Hartford of Alba, several uncles aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Pastor Sheldon Roblyer will officiated at a celebration of Vonda’s life Nov. 19, at Pepper Funeral Home, Canton.
Interment will be private at a later date.
