Virginia L. Morse, 92, of Towanda, Pa., formerly of Leroy Township, passed away Thursday evening Dec. 13, 2018 at Towanda Memorial‘s Skilled Nursing Unit.
Born in Canton, Pa. on May 1, 1926, Virginia “Gin” Palmer was a daughter of the late Paul and Edith (Brooks) Palmer. Love and support for family, home and friends always came first in Virginia’s life. Gin was married to the late Delancey Morse, Jr. She was a hard worker and enjoyed the life of a busy farm wife. Virginia loved all animals, especially horses and was a knowledgeable equestrian. She also grew abundant vegetable gardens and enjoyed canning, sewing and quilting.

Surviving are her children; David P. Morse of Leroy and Barbara Sentyz of Towanda, three grandchildren; Chad (Angel) Butcher of Blossburg, Jennifer Sentyz of Towanda and Josh Sentyz (fiancée Jessica Root) of Granville Smt., great grandchildren; Michaela and Mackenzie Butcher, a brother; Dean W. (Delores) Palmer of Williamsport, several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Virginia was predeceased by a brother, Charles Palmer.
In keeping with Mrs. Morse’s wishes, there will be no public services. Pepper Funeral Home & Cremation Facility in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements.
