Veronica Kilmer, 68, Canton, passed away at home while surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday morning, November 1, 2017.
Veronica Louise, “Roni” to family and friends, was born September 24, 1949 in Philipsburg, PA, one of 11 children of the late Veronica and Michael Sabol.
On May 10, 1997, Roni married Phillip Kilmer in South Port, NY.
In earlier years, she worked as a waitress and bartender at several area restaurants and clubs. Roni later got her CDL license and drove truck with Phil. She enjoyed traveling much of the country while working for Barr Nunn Transportation out of Granger, Iowa. She was a member of Canton’s American Legion 303, V.F.W. Lodge 714 and WOTM Lodge 981. Roni always held a special appreciation and connection with nature and being outdoors. She loved to camp and take rides through the countryside. She also was a great cook. Most of all, Roni loved spending time socializing with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband Phil, surviving are sons; Dennis L. Jr. (Monica) Gower, Canton and Michael L. (Billie Jo) Gower, Wellsboro; grandchildren; Heather Gower, Cody L. Gower, Joshua M. Gower, Jesse L. Gower and Timothy W. Humpal; seven brothers and sisters; Marilyn Sabol, Clearfield, Michael Sabol, Beccaria, Joseph (Nancy) Sabol, Hawk Run, John Saboll,Tyrone, Gary (Wendy) Sabol, Morrisdale, Mark (Linda) Sabol of South Carolina and Cazimer (Patsy) Sabol, Houtzdale; many dear friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three siblings; George Sabol, Steve Sabol and Joanne Sabol Shields.
