Thomas W. H. Shoemaker, Jr., V.M.D., 96, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
He served Sullivan County and nearby areas as veterinarian for nearly 70 years.
He was Publisher Emeritus of the Sullivan Review, which has been owned by the Shoemaker family since 1966.
He also owned the Canton Independent-Sentinel from 1983 to 1988.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA. Funeral services will be private.
