Thomas L. Baxter, 66, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Tom was born April 16, 1948 in Teaneck, NJ, a son of the late Prescott G. and Eileen M. (Galipeau) Baxter.
After graduating from Pascack Valley Regional High School, Tom received an Associates degree from SUNY Agricultural and Technical College in Cobleskill, NY.

In 1971, he earned his Bachelors of Science in Agriculture at Louisiana State University. Tom owned and operated Tom Baxter Sales, a tire repair and tool supply business, near Hackensack, NJ for several years before moving to Bradford County. On Sept. 15, 1984, he married the former Karen Kulis in Hickory, MD.
Tom always loved being outdoors; especially when hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle or boating. He also enjoyed reading, watching baseball, golf and NASCAR on TV and anything to do with trains.
Surviving is his wife of over 30 years, Karen; daughters, Kim Baxter and Diane Baxter both of Columbia Crossraods.; siblings, John P. Baxter of Portsmouth, VA, Eileen M. Randman of Atlanta, GA and Susan T. Labrecque of Plymouth, MA; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
A memorial service was held Feb. 17, at Pepper Funeral Home, Canton with Father Michael McCormick officiating
