Thomas E. Elvidge, 73, of East Smithfield, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 following a period of declining health.
Tom was born March 18, 1944 in East Troy, son of the late James and Elma (Brown) Elvidge. He was a graduate of S.R.U. High School. Tom was a dedicated community member having served as the Fire Chief of the East Smithfield Fire Department as well as having served as part of the Tri-Township Ambulance Association. Tom believed ethic of working which resulted in him retiring a number of times including his retirement as a Paramedic from Guthrie as well as from Guthrie Med Supply Depot.
His funeral service was held on Saturday, December 30, at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services Inc.,Troy, with Tom’s son-in-law LaVern Jackson officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery, East Smithfield.
