Shirley A. Hawkins, 80, Troy Township, passed away on Aug. 29, 2017 at the Bradford County Manor. Shirley was born on March 2, 2017 in LeRoy Township, a daughter of the late Myton and Dorsi (Sage) Bellows.
She was married to William Hawkins Jr. and together they raised a family and worked the family farm. Shirley was an avid line dancer and loved to teach line dancing. She also loved to quilting, winning numerous blue ribbons, working the family farm and being with her family. Shirley worked for many years as a nurse's aide at the Bradford County Manor.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband, William Hawkins Jr.; parents, Myrton and Doris (Sage) Bellows; and an infant son, William D. Cole Jr.
She is survived by her children Billy Cole of Troy, PA, and Lovejoy Laue, also of Troy.
At Shirley's request all services will be private at the convenience of the family. Caring assistance is provided by Cooley Tioga Point Cremation and Burial Options, Athens, Pennsylvania.
