She was born on February 8, 1944, the daughter of the late Raymon and Florence (Seymour) VanZile.
Sharon started her career as a X-ray Technician at the Arnot Ogden Hospital before becoming a bookkeeper. She was the treasurer and lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Troy. Sharon loved to read, spend time with her family and laugh with her friends, especially her classmates of the Class of 1962. She retired in 2006 from Oak Hill Veneer.
Sharon and George relocated to Inverness, FL in 2012. She attended the First Presbyterian Church, volunteered for the Citrus County Crime Watch, as well
as enjoyed countless dinners and card games with her friends.
Sharon was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother (known as Mimi), aunt, and friend. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Her love and kindness will live in the hearts of so many people
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her brother, James M. VanZile.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a memorial to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to the First Baptist Church of Troy.
