Affectionately known as Lucile she was born in Troy on March 17, 1931 daughter of Charles & Edith (Parmenter) Simcoe. She was a graduate of Troy Schools and was married to the late Clarence Oliver Baxter.
Surviving are her two sons, Rudy Baxter and Calvin (Vonnie) Baxter all of Columbia Cross Roads, two grandchildren Casey Baxter and Madisyn Baxter, a brother and sister-in-law, Larry (Marlane) Simcoe of Troy and Florida, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lucile was predeceased by her parents, husband Clarence Oliver Baxter, a brother, Charles Fay Simcoe, sisters, Mary Esther Van Horn, Virginia Inman and Ina Schucker.
Lucile’s services are private and interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA is in charge of arrangements.
