Ruth A. Dibble, age 89 of Canton, Pa., passed away at Bradford County Manor on Dec. 2, 2018. Ruth was born on Mar. 2, 1929 in Elizabeth, N.J., a daughter of Joseph and Eleanor (MacKinzie) Angerbauer, Jr.
Ruth was the wife of the late Russell Clark Dibble, Sr., a WWII Army veteran who preceded her in death in 1998. She was previously employed as the Assistant Superintendent at the Martha Lloyd School and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Troy. Ruth also taught horseback riding and competed in English riding at horse shows She enjoyed knitting, sewing, flowers and gardening.

Ruth is survived by her son Russell (Dawn) Dibble, Jr. of Columbia Crossroads; daughter JoAnn (Paul) Schaffer of Canton; grandchildren Jamie (Jarad) Morehouse and Thad (Janna) Dibble; four great grandchildren Tyler and Evan Morehouse, and Connor and Payton Dibble.
