On Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, Rosalyn Lee Mosher of Canton passed away quietly at Robert Packer Hospital. She was 68 years of age. Born in Sayre on Jan. 9, 1951, she was the daughter of Milton and Dorna (Lamont) VanNoy.
Growing up on her family's farm, Rosalyn was familiar with hard work, and developed a strong work ethic. She was employed for many years at the former American Silk Label Co. in Troy. Later, she was a familiar face at the Wysox Dandy Mini Mart.
Friendly and helpful, Rosalyn was the kind of person that people took to readily.

She is survived by her son, Anthony (and Tiffany) Ostrander of East Canton, daughter Tanya Pruyne of Chemung, N.Y., brothers Dennis (and Charlene) VanNoy of Sayre, Milton VanNoy, Jr. of Granville Summit, Alan (and Janice) VanNoy of Liverpool, Pa., sister Carolyn (and David) Swain of Granville Summit, grandchildren Tanisha Ostrander, Kyle Pruyne, Hunter Ostrander, Marissa Ostrander , Kaitlin Ostrander, great-grandchildren Natalee Beebe, Bently Wright, Paizley Rorick. She was preceded in death by brother E. J. VanNoy, parents Milton and Dorna VanNoy, Sr., and husband Durland “Skip” Mosher.
