
Robert Augustus, “Bob” to family and friends, was born on August 28, 1931 in Philadelphia, a son of the late Ralph R. and Harriett (Wadenphuel) Reigner. He served our country during the Korean War. Bob was a devoted husband and father of five children. He was married to the former Ann M. Rohrbaugh for 51 years before her passing on October 28, 2006. Working in the plumbing field all his life, he owned and operated Reigner’s Plumbing and Heating Company near Philadelphia until retiring. Bob was an avid outdoors-man, especially enjoying nature, hunting and fishing. His memberships included the Canton and Flourtown area’s Veteran Clubs and the Canton Moose Lodge 429.
Surviving are his children, Theresa Mandell of Ambler, PA, Robert, Jr. of Crystal River, FL, Ronald of Jefferson, PA, Richard of Flourtown and Lisa Wallace of North Wales, PA,eight grandchildren and his brother, Ralph “Buddy’ Reigner, Jr. of Florida.
In addition to Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife Ann.
Rev. Herbert Eby will officiate a memorial service to honor Bob’s life at noon, Saturday, Nov. 28 at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Dr., Canton. Services in the Flourtown area will be announced Burial will be in Ellenton Cemetery at a later date. Share condolences at www.pepperfuneralhomes.com
