Robena Page Moore, 88, longtime Canton and Ogdensburg, PA resident passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 14, 2017, at Guthrie Towanda Memorial Hospital’s Skilled Nursing Unit.
Robena Mae was born August 10, 1928 in Leolyn, PA, a daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Dorothy (Hindmarsh) Roby.
In earlier years, she was affectionately known as “Red” and later as “Bena”. She was a member of the former First Baptist Church of Canton (Lighthouse of Faith).
Robena’s love for family and devoted care of her home were the most important things in her life. She will be remembered as a neighborly, friendly and social lady who was blessed with many friends.
She also was very handy and could fix about anything, a talent she acquired from her father.
Robena enjoyed many interests, but favorite hobbies included tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, riding bike and reading.

Surviving are children, Lisa (Ron) Neal, Ogdensburg and Robin (Roy) Thomas, Alba; grandson, Kurtis (Kristen) Page and great-grandson, Konnor Page; siblings, Lucille Green, Troy, Donna Greene, Ogilvie, MN and Dolores Jane Wilston, Towanda; sister-in-law, Harriett Roby, St. Mary’s GA; step daughter-in-law, Julia Moore-Allen, Clinton, NC; step grandchildren, Abby and Matt Thomas, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her first husband of 19 years; Theodore “Toddy” Page in 1983 and her second husband; William J. “Bill” Moore in 2011; sister and brothers, Henrietta (Clarence) Vermilya, John Roby and Paul Jr. (Cora) Roby; three brothers-in-law, Loren Green, Robert Greene and Jack Wilston; two stepsons, Leamon (Olean) Moore and Stanley Moore.
Rev. Garry Zuber officiated the funeral service on April 18 at the Pepper Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial followed in the Park Cemetery, Canton. T
