Rich’s calling in life was always dairy farming and his beloved lands of Rockside Farms. In earlier years he was employed by Jones & Brague Mining Co. and was a logger with his father. Later Dick worked as a meat cutter at Flickinger’s in Troy and then worked at the Super Duper in Troy and Blossburg. Dick will be lovingly remembered for his kind hearted, easy-going manner and he made friends easily. He loved his family, especially the grandkids and enjoyed visiting with them. Dick and Sheryl also enjoyed traveling the United States. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Ogdensburg Church of Christ, Mountain Run Hunting Club and the Canton Moose Lodge 429.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his father-in-law and brother-in-law and several aunts and uncles.
