Richard G. “Rick” Foust, Jr., 61, of Troy, (Columbia Twp.) passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at his home.
Rick was born in Troy on September 29, 1954. He was one of five children in the family of Doris (Carl) and Richard “Dick” Foust Sr. of Ft. Meade, FL. Rick served in the Army and Marine Corps. He found his calling to dairy farming early in life and enjoyed working at the Ferguson and Landis Farms near Alba and the Case Farm near Sylvania. Rick also drove truck in earlier years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, working on his Jeep, bowling and playing darts. Rick also was a big fan of the Troy Trojans, especially football.

Surviving is his son, Jason (Casey) Foust, Canton; daughter, Amber Hostettler of Troy; Six grandchildren, Taylor Foust, Hunter Foust, Shayla Foust, Samara Foust, Trever Spiak and Samantha Spiak; four siblings, Robert Foust of Ft. Meade, Randy Foust of Canton, Connie (Brian) Sheppard of Carlisle and Joanne (Larry) Hall of Troy; a special cousin, Dale Foust of Troy and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also a close friend, Larry Case of Troy.
