Richard Arthur Kennard Jr., 70, of Canton, and formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away July 1, 2017 at the Sayre Health Care Center.
Born January 26, 1947 in Amityville, NY, Richard was a son of Richard and Margaret (Eubank) Kennard.
He served our country as a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Richard was employed as a factory machinist and a mechanic until retiring. He was very proud of his grandchildren, Jacob and Katherine.
In addition to his grandchildren, surviving is his sister, Janet (Rosario) Gerbino and a nephew, Ross Gerbino.
