Phyllis was born May 27, 1930 in Sayre daughter of the late George V. and Marion D. (Brown) Rockwell.
She was a graduate of Troy High School Class of 1948. She and the late Charles Richard Storrs were married July 26, 1950 and celebrated many happy years together.
Phyllis was employed at ASL Industries in Troy following 23 years of employment. She was a member of the Troy Baptist Church and found great joy working in her kitchen baking and canning everything delicious. Phyllis enjoyed reading, eating out at restaurants, her cats and attending her High School Class Reunion yearly. She was a Terry Bradshaw and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Survivors include children Linda M. Storrs, Wellsboro, Susan R. (Joe) Roy, Flowery Branch, GA, James O. (Shirley) Storrs, Knoxville, TN, David C. (Tammie) Storrs, Columbia Cross Roads, Phillip G. Storrs and his friend Tony, Las Vegas, NV; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was predeceased by parents, loving husband Charles R. Storrs, son Charles R. Storrs, Jr, siblings and their spouses, Leamon (Mary Alice) Rockwell, Caroline Rockwell, Ruth Rockwell, brother and sister-in-law, Margie (Bob) Fox.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Oak Hill Cemetery, Troy, PA.
