Philip E. Miller, 64, of Cogan Station died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at his residence.
Born February 26, 1951 in Towanda, he was a son of Ira E. and Nellie Fivehouse Miller.
Philip was a 1969 graduate of Canton High School. He was employed as a salesman for Smurfit-Stone Container from 1972 to 2011, and currently worked for International Paper.
Philip enjoyed fishing, billiards, golf, sprint car races at Selinsgrove and Williams Grove Raceway, and classic muscle cars. He was a member of the Harmonia Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Crystal L. (Spencer) Miller, two children, Michael (Elizabeth) Miller of Camp Hill and Rachel (Zack) Fox of Williamsport, a sister Eileen (Lawrence) Sherman of Burlington, a half-brother, Lyall (Roberta) Sage of Oneonta, NY.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua A. Miller and two brothers, Ira E. Jr. “Sonny”, and James T. Miller.
A life Celebration to honor Philip will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. Williamsport. There will be a visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Philip’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
