
Born in Canton, Pa. on Dec. 13, 1929, he was the son of the late Thomas A. and Ethel Pardoe Towner. Paul was a graduate of Canton High School and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was a delivery driver working for various companies in his lifetime, from Elmira, Tobacco, Vigor-Tone Ag Products, and even furniture store delivery. Paul loved bluegrass music and all things old. He enjoyed wood-working, crossword puzzles, silverware crafting, and tinkering.
Paul is survived by his two children, Debra Ameigh of Peoria, Ariz. and LeRoy Towner and his wife Jan of Lucinda, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a niece, Sandra Hutchison, and his special friend, Shirley Preston of Hornell, N.Y. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Towner and a granddaughter, Jessica.
