Pat was born on October 29, 1927 in Sayre, daughter of the late Andrew and Eva (Murray) Bannick. When living in Troy Pat worked at the Ben Franklin Store and also for Housekeeping at Troy Hospital. She was Ukrainian Catholic by faith and enjoyed crocheting. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Pat is survived by her son John A. (Coreen “Corky”) Harkness of Columbia Cross Roads, her daughter Linda Durocher of Glocester, RI, her grandchildren: Derek (Stacy) Harkness, Denise (Mike) Newman, Dawn (Pete) Durocher-Izzi, and Ryan Marcia) Durocher, her great grandchildren: Kylie and Lauren Newman, Ashlyn Harkness, Chatel Cunha, and Ryan Durocher, her sister Rita Barrett, her step-brother John Horniak, along with several nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, her sisters: Eugenia, Vera, Pauline, Helena, and Mildred, along with her son-in-law Robert Durocher.
Family and friends had a time of fellowship and food at Fay’s Sugar Shack, Columbia Cross Roads, PA on February 7, 2015.
Burial will be private in Glenwood Cemetery.
