Patricia A. Davison, widow of Bill Davison, passed away on Mar. 5, 2019 surrounded by her family. Formerly a resident of Canton Borough she was living at her son and daughter-in-law's home in LeRoy Township at the time of her passing. Pat, as she liked to be called, was a spunky woman with a “tell-it-like-it-is” attitude. She cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born Aug. 3, 1944 in Sayre, Pa., she was the daughter of Dean (& Mida) Landon. She was a graduate of Canton High School, Class of 1964. Following graduation pat worked at many jobs including Canford's, Eureka, Farmsworth Cookie Factory, Darien Lake and miscellaneous waitress positions. Pat married Bill Davison at Friendship, N.Y. on Aug. 20, 1994. They were happily married for ten years until Bill's passing.
Pat is survived by her sons, Kim (& Marcie) Jennings of LeRoy, and George (& Melissa) Jennings of Canton, grandchildren Calvin (& Mindy) Jennings, Becca (& Zach) Jennings, Ashley Jennings, Scotty Jennings, Amanda Jennings and Cody Jennings, sister Kate Fleming, and brothers Bob Thompson and Willard “Butch” Thompson, special friend Robin Campbell and during her last week of life her grandpuppies, Dunkin and Libby, who never left her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean & Mida Landon, son Chuck Jennings, husband Bill Davison, step-sister Jean Harmon and husband Gene, step-brothers Albert Allen and wife Dorothy, Tom Landon and wife Dora, Charles Streeter and brother-in-law Fred Fleming.
A private grave-side service took place at the East Canton Cemetery Friday, Mar. 8 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Duane Taylor officiating. The family provided the flowers and suggests that memorial contributions be directed to Morse & Kleese Funeral Home, 94 N. Center St., Canton, to assist with Pat's arrangements (www.morseandkleesefuneralhome.com).
