Pamela Anderson Sechrist,48, of Troy, PA passed away Tuesday morning, February 14, 2017 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
Born on August 7, 1968 in Williamsport, Pamela Lynn was one of eight children of the late Virgil and Juanita (Woodward) Anderson.
She was a 1986 graduate of Canton High School.
On Aug. 18, 1990, Pam married Donald J. “Donnie” Sechrist in the Ogdensburg Church of Christ. She was a loving, caring natured wife, sister and friend who adored her children with all her heart and soul.
To know Pam was to love her; always thinking of others, she would offer her help to anyone in need.
Pam appreciated nature’s beauty and enjoyed being outdoors. She loved her old car. Her heart also went out to all animals and she was known for catering to her pets.
Pam worked for Martha Lloyd Community Services for 13 years before realizing her dream of owning and operating a children’s day care center for 12 years. She also enjoyed coaching Troy’s Cheerleaders for several years.

Surviving is her beloved husband, Donnie; children; Caitlynn Grace and Kenton James, siblings; Lillian (Robert) Guthrie, Gleason, Lloyd Anderson, Acre Lake, Susan (Butch) Hagemeyer and John (Mary) Anderson all of Ralston and Valerie Vargo of Delaware; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Brenda (Jim) Meuse, Ginger Bastion, Carl (Kathleen) Day and Daniel Bastion; her best friends, Cathy Hill and Becky Spencer; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. Also, her pet family, Reilly, Molly and Whiskers.
In addition to her parents, Pam was predeceased by two siblings; Carletta Rose Barlow and Virgil “V.J.” Anderson.
Funeral was held at Pepper Funeral Home, Canton with Rev. Duane Taylor officiating
Burial followed in Pennsdale Cemetery near Bodines, PA.
