Nancy Lee Butters Mingos, 64, West Franklin, passed away, July 19, 2015 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Nancy was born in Sayre on July 29, 1950. In early years, she was employed by Sayre Lingerie and later served as a delivery person for the Daily Review and the Evening Times for a number of years.
She was formerly employed by the Bradford County Library. Nancy loved animals and was a member of several pet organizations. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her outgoing and friendly personality.
Surviving are her granddaughter, Katie Mae Mingos and daughter-in-law, Roxanne Mingos Chamberlain (Ken) all of Roseville, PA; sister, Ruthanne Butters Coolbaugh, Troy, brother and sister-in-law, Linus and Ann Robinson, Chemung, NY; several nieces and nephews, special friends, Frank E. Mingos, Towanda, Delina and Ruby.
She was preceded in death by her sons, David E. Mingos on February 27, 2008, Michael J. Mingos on May 15, 1990 and her mother, Ruth Butters Robinson on July 18, 2006.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family requests that contributions be directed to the Bradford County Humane Society, PO Box 179, Ulster, PA 18850 in Nancy’s memory.
