Michael Joseph Hibbard, 54 years young, passed away on the morning of December 20, 2015 in Palm Springs, CA.
Michael was born on December 23, 1960 in Greenfield, MA to his parents, Simone and Edward Hibbard.
Michael graduated from the Greenfield Community College with a degree in Art and Design. Although Michael worked in luxury brand retail, his true love was art, whether it was painting or drawing, you could always find him in the middle of a project or two.

Michael was also a very spiritual person and he facilitated various groups, including meditation and breath work sessions.
Michael and his longtime partner Eric Slingerland met in San Francisco and they spent over 20 years in the Bay Area and Palm Springs, CA – two of the most beautiful places on earth.
You could always count on Michael being with one of his three Aussie’s that he so loved and cherished over the years - Jacob, Zachary, and now Jaxon.
Surviving are his brother Richard and his husband Warren Purvis of Providence, RI and his sister Carol Shortell and husband James of Greenfield, MA.
