Michael J. Hulslander, 45, Columbia Cross Roads, passed away at home on Thursday, January 26, 2017.
Mike was born November 9, 1971 in Waverly, NY son of Judy L. (Hollenbeck) Hulslander and the late James A. Hulslander. Mike was a graduate of Athens High School where he was a member of the basketball and soccer teams.
He and the former Melissa Hartranft were married on March 20, 2004 and celebrated 12 years together. Together Mike and Missy dedicated themselves to the Hulslander Family Farm where they worked the farm together side by side.
Mike was an avid Penn State Fan, enjoyed attending and watching horse pulls, hunting with his nephews and loved his family deeply.
Survivors include his wife Melissa (Hartranft) Hulslander, Columbia Cross Roads; mother Judy Hulslander, Columbia Cross Roads; his four children, the twins, Kylie & Kadyn, Karson and Kendall Hulslander all at home; sister and brother-in-law, Stacy L. (William D.) Houseknecht, Columbia Cross Roads; paternal grandmother, Anna Mary Hulslander, Columbia Cross Roads; mother and father-in-law, Lester and Connie Hartranft, Mansfield, aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 1, at the East Smithfield Federated Church, Church & Main Streets, East Smithfield, PA 18817 Reverend Laverne Jackson and Reverend Tim Robson officiating.
Additional parking for services will be at the Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gerald W. Vickery Jr. Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Troy, PA.
