Martha L. Ostrander, Age 72 of Mud Creek Road, Troy, Pa. passed away Tuesday, Mar. 5, 2019 at the Troy Community Hospital with her loving family at her side. Martha Was born Mar. 12, 1946 in Lawrence Township, Pa. daughter of the late Thomas & Florence (Kilburn) Tillinghast. She was married to the late Howard Ostrander who passed away in 2004. She was formerly employed as a clerk at the Dandy Mini Mart on Rte. 6 & 14 and prior to that worked for Edgewoods for many years. She was a member of the Bradford County Rocks Group who hand painted rocks to leave in special places for people to find. Martha also enjoyed camping and spending time with her loving family especially her great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dale Ostrander of Troy, Craig & Junita Ostrander of Troy, her daughter, Tina Crawford of Sylvania, a sister Patty Whidden of Westfield, six grandchildren, nine and 1/4 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents and her loving husband Howard.
Family and friends were invited to gather at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 9, 2019 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main St., Troy, Pa. 16947. Interment was at the convenience of the family in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, Pa.
