She was born in Blossburg to the late David and Jeanette (Haddow) Reese.
She graduated in 1946 from the former Blossburg High School. She was employed over 40 years by Ward Manufacturing as an office employee.
She had been a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church, Blossburg also lifelong member of Arnot Sportsman Club, Hillside Rod and Gun and, Veterans of Foreign Wars Supreme Sacrifice Post #8730, Auxiliary. She was also auxiliary member of William B. Wilson American Legion Post#572, Blossburg and Theodore Roosevelt American Legion Post#167, Morris Run.
Marian is survived by a son, Richard (Susan) Naylor, Mansfield; daughters, Jeanette Carey, Blossburg, and Susan (Walter) Morgan, Canton; son Garry Naylor and his special friend Joanne, Ithaca; grandchildren, Brian, Rich, Paula, Pam, Danny, Keith, Kevin, Melissa, Sean and Shalane; 17 great-grandchildren; also by special friends, Roger and Susan Bunn, Maria Finch, and Vernie Nybeck.
In addition to her parents and husband, Robert Lindquist, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Henry Naylor; son-in-law Richard Carey, sisters, Margaret Page and Dorothy Jones.
Friends and family called Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. with Pastor Elizabeth Jackson officiating. Interment was in Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg.
