Mararet Mason Woodard, 94 of Bentley Creek, PA died on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at The Homestead in Penn Yan, NY, where she had resided for two years.
She was born on April 15, 1920, in Troy, the daughter of the late John and Emma Mason.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Ronald G. Woodard, and her daughter Darla Lowery.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law R. Dennis and Evelyn Woodard of Penn Yan, daughter and son-in-law Penny and Zane Palmer of Fort Myers Beach, FL, and son-in-law Hubert “Spike” Lowery of Mesquite, NV; her sisters, Beverly Knights and Dorando Hoose, both of Troy; grandchildren, Amy (Todd) Freyman , Laurie (Tom) Morrell, Zane (Alexis) Palmer, Jeff (Stephanie) Lowery, and Brett (Amy) Lowery, eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was a dedicated member of the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church. She retired from Westinghouse after 20 years of service. Margaret loved to play cards and bowl, and enjoyed quilting with Ronald.
Funeral services were held at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., Elmira, NY, on January 10, 2015.
Interment will take place privately and at the convenience of the family at the Bentley Creek Cemetery, Bentley Creek, PA. Memorial donations may be directed to the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church, Bentley Creek, PA 15564.
