He was born on Feb. 28, 1935 in Burlington Township, a son of the late Mahlon L. and Ruth Harkness Wrisley.
Bill was a farmer for most of his life and enjoyed doing construction in his later years. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Bill loved square dancing with his wife. He enjoyed woodworking and bowling in his league.
He was preceded in death by great-granddaughter Kirsten Wrisley; brothers Russell Wrisley, Duane Wrisley, and Stuart Wrisley; sisters Eloise Likewise, Ophelia Ayres, Gladys Jerome; and twin sister Marilyn Pepper,
Surviving are his wife of 59 years Elizabeth at home; children Ricky and Diana Wrisley, Landsdale, PA, Kimi and Marty Daniels, Milan, PA, Brian and Diane Wrisley, LeRoy, PA and Michael and Tracy Wrisley, State College, Pa.; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Elnora Stapley , Rochester, N.Y. and Lois Wrisley, State College, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family may call on Friday, July 10, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Burlington Methodist Church, Rt. 6, West Burlington. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Rick Wrisley and Liston Pepper officiating.
Burial will be in Lane Cemetery.
