Larry was born on Apr. 15, 1940 in Canton, Pa. son of the late Lawrence A. and Blanche (Swingle) Case. His early life was spent on the farm in Beech Flats until moving to the farm in Troy at the age of 16. Larry was a graduate of Troy Senior High School, class of 1958. Larry’s passion was farming and he ran the family dairy farm until his retirement in 2009. He was able to keep machinery on the farm working with his excellent mechanical abilities and expert welding. His memberships includes being a lifelong member of the Pennsylvania Farmers Association (PFA) which is now the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and a member of and past chairman of the Troy Agway committee. He was also a member and past president of the Troy School Board in the 1980’s. Larry was a member of the Austinville Union Church, sang in the church choir, and was a member of the Bradford County Gideons. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed bowling in the 2 in 1 league at Terrace Lanes.

Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main St. Troy, Pa. and again from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 17, 2019 at the Austinville Union Church 2977 Austinville Road, Troy, Pa. The memorial service to celebrate Larry’s life will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 17 at the church with family member and friend Rev. Kenneth Marple officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of Larry’s family in Bradford County Memorial Park.
