Louis R. Beach, 89, Troy, died Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Bath VA Hospital, Bath, NY.
He was born September 22, 1927, in Elmira, NY, a son of Raymond J. and Cleo (Phelps) Beach. Louis is survived by his wife, Velma (Watson) Beach. He worked as a welder for American Bridge in Elmira, NY before he retired. Louis was a Navy veteran of WWII. He enjoyed reading, camping, animals and word search puzzles.
In addition to his wife, Louis is survived by son, Douglas (Karen) Beach, Columbia Cross Roads,; daughters, Connie Beers, Columbia Cross Roads, Deborah Eighmey, Vero Beach, Florida, Cindy Oldroyd, Gillett, PA; daughter-in-law, Naomi Roy, Gillett; step-sons, Darrell Roy, Gillett, Dean (Linda) Roy of Utah; step-daughter, Denise (Jay) Malin of Virginia; brother, Bob (Doranda) Bieri, Lawrenceville; sister-in-law, Julia Beach, Troy; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brothers, Donald Beach and sister-in-law, Virginia, Bob Beach, a son-in-law Larry Eighmey and a step-son, Dan Roy.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
A memorial service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jay Zaremba officiating.
Burial will be in the Checkerville Cemetery, Gillett, PA.
