
Born February 13, 1938 in Williamsport, Lois was the daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy (Libby) Wilson. She graduated high school with Canton’s class of 1956 and continued to be involved as reunion secretary.
On November 30, 1957, Lois married Stephen Ribovich at the Ralston United Methodist Church. She worked with the U.S. Postal Service and for ShopVac Corp. in Williamsport for many years until retiring in 2000.
Active in her community, Lois was the glue that held so many together and kept things running smoothly.
She was a member of Ralston’s United Methodist Church, their Volunteer Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary and the Marine Corps. Deer Crossing Detachment.
She also wrote the “Ralston News” column for the Canton Independent Sentinel and volunteered at the Ralston Book Store. Favorite things for Lois were reading and sharing good times with family and friends. She and Steve also traveled to the Caribbean.
Lois was predeceased by a son, Robert F. Ribovich in April, 1960.
Calling hours are 10 – noon Thursday, Sept. 17, at Pepper Funeral Home, Springbrook Drive in Canton. Services will follow at noon with Jeanie Hayes officiating.
Burial will be in Grover Cemetery.
