
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 at Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve. Friends may call from 9:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg.
She was born Oct. 13, 1939 in Canton, to Robert and Blanche (Kuchenbrod) Pidcoe.
Linda was a member of the United Methodist Church where she always found time to help with bible school and other activities at church. She was very involved in 4-H, scouting, and supported her children and grandchildren in the Soap Box Derby when they were growing up. Her great joy in life was being a homemaker and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
Surviving are four children, Lindabeth (Tim) Carpenter, Lakeville, Mary Ohmsford, Coshocton, Bo (Jennifer) Shears, Mt. Vernon, and Matt Shears, Orrville; grandchildren; Timothy Jr., Tyler, and Trent Carpenter, Jairemy Shears, Patrick Lovell, Emily Byles and Dakota and Montana Shears; step-granddaughter Terri Booth; brothers; Robert Pidoce of Muncy Valley and Paul Pidcoe of Canton; sisters; Gladys Pidcoe, Canton, and Janet Pidcoe, Akron, OH; several nieces and nephews; dear friends; Mandy Noser and her son Colton Kennison, and Riley Henry and Ethan Parker (children of, her dear friend, the late Mary Henry). And life-long friend, Joyce Bales.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Gaynelle Pidcoe and Maida Chaney, nephews; Rex Boggs and Dwayne Pidcoe, and a sister-In-law Jane Pidcoe.
