Born in Towanda in 1941, Lee was the son of the late Albert and Louise Crayton. He graduated from Towanda High School in 1959 and married the love of his life, the former Bette Kier, in 1963. A lifelong resident of West Franklin, Lee loved the land, and farming it was in his blood, like generations before him. Inventive and artistic, he crafted witty solutions to everyday problems, always striving to build something better. A skilled woodworker from his youth, Lee created many beautiful keepsakes, from lamps to doll cradles, that are cherished by his family.
