Larry was born September 18th, 1955 in Mesa, Arizona. He was a fifth-generation Railroad Man. Larry also held the position of Fire Chief for the Bowie Arizona Volunteer Fire Department, worked as a Paramedic for 16 years. He enjoyed NASCAR and tried his hand at racing and did well in Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado.
After his retirement from 40 years with the railroad, Larry and Debra moved to Mansfield, Pennsylvania in 2013. He enjoyed spending time with family and especially his five grandchildren. He was an avid hunter, using rifle and bow, loved fishing and living the rural life in Pennsylvania.
Larry is survived by his wife, Debra of Mansfield PA, his son Joshua Collins and his family in Tucson AZ, his daughter Shannon Sakers and her family in Canton PA, his sister Brenda and her family in Redding CA as well as numerous extended family members. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Carnlee and Betty Collins and his older brother Lee Collins.
