Kathryn was a devout Catholic and was a graduate of Nazareth College in Rochester, NY . Upon her graduation from Nazareth she entered The Order of The Sisters of St. Joseph at Nazareth Convent and took the name (former) Sister Mary Emmanuella.
In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by her siblings Antoinette "Toni" Monte, Lucy Niedszwski, Manuella Muccigrosso, Carmella "Millie"Colton, Leiber John Monte, and Joseph G. Monte.
Kathryn was a communicant of St. Mary's Southside Church in Elmira, NY for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Lynch Funeral Home 318 West Broad Street Horseheads, January 13 , 2 016 from 4-6 PM.
Recitation of The Rosary will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Southside Church on January 14 , 2016 at 10 AM.
She will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wilkes Barre.
The Pallbearers will be Kathryn's beloved nephews: Melvin Chapman, Lance Margeson, Thomas Margeson, Jimmy Colton, Mark Colton, David Colton and Antonio Villegas.
