Joyce Bixby, age 94, Mansfield, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Broad Acres in Wellsboro, PA.
She was born on February 6, 1924 in Granville Twp., PA, a daughter of Lawrence Greenough and Annabel (Shoemaker) Greenough.
Joyce was the wife of the late Britt Bixby who died in 2001. She was employed at Mansfield University as a secretary for 30 years.
Joyce is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Yohanna Bixby, Modesto, CA, Scott and Virginia Bixby, Mansfield, PA, Mark and Arifa Bixby, Houston, TX, Chris and Susan Bixby, Loganville, PA, Jon and Marie Bixby, Pensacola, FL; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Charles “Jake” Randall, Bernville, PA; special nephew, Don Bixby; nieces, Kelly Murray and Connie Chilson.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 26 at Noon to 1 PM at the First Baptist Church, Sherwood & Main St, Mansfield, PA.
A service will immediately follow at 1 PM.
