John enjoyed his life’s work as a truck driver. He was an owner/operator for a time, drove over the road for several years and later hauled for Parry’s Trucking in Tunkhannock. He was a member of Canton’s VFW Post 714 and American Legion Post 303. John will be remembered as a witty conversationalist and a kind person, always there to help anyone in need. He was an avid outdoorsman who was interested in nature and farming, he also collected and sold honey throughout the area. In earlier years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Beloved “Johnny Paw” to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, John especially loved spending time with his family.
