Born Sept. 15, 1942, in Canton, he was a son of Jesse A. and Beatrice M. (Bassett) Kepler.
Stanley was a Vietnam War Veteran of the U.S. Navy having served on the USS San Pablo. He worked many years in construction and had been the Business Agent for the Laborers Local No. 708. He retired as the human resource manager for Nicholas Meats, Loganton. Stanley enjoyed spending time with his family, going on cross country motorcycle trips, woodworking, shooting pool, playing cards and was an avid Penn State Football fan.
Surviving are three children, David Splain (Tina), Williamsport, Christine Splain, Williamsport, and Dianne Kepler, Williamsport; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Deborah Nicholas, Montoursville; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation was held, January 6, followed by a memorial service to honor Stanley’s life at Sanders Mortuary, Williamsport.
