She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Lloyd A Williams. Together, they served congregations in New Albany and Wilkes Barre, PA; Edison, NJ; and, finally, Oaklyn Baptist Church until their retirement in 1985.
As well as serving as a pastor's wife and mother of five, Janet also worked a full-time job at the Honda Corporation in Mt. Laurel. She has lived at Riverview Estates for the past 19 years, giving her the distinction of being the longest living resident.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by six siblings.
She will be greatly missed by her sister Ada Miller; her loving children Barbara McCauley(Art), Lloyd "Larry"(Alyce), Ruth Williams(Derl), Bonnie Smith (Keith), and Susan Riley(Mike; as well as 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends met Monday, August 14, at Oaklyn Baptist Church, Oaklyn, NJ. Janet's funeral service was held at the church.
Interment took place on August 15, at Hunt Cemetery, Troy, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Riverview Estates, 303 Bank Ave, Riverton, NJ 08077, to refurbish the nursing unit.
