Helen Dickerson, 97, long-time resident of Ellenton, PA (McNett Twp.) was called to her Heavenly reward, August 29, 2017 from Darway Elder Care in Estella.
Helen Louise was born June 30, 1920 at Spring Hill near Wyalusing. She was a daughter of the late J. Edward and Flora M. (Lattimer) Hendershot. On June 1, 1946, Helen married Harold G. Dickerson in Elmira Heights. They were blessed with five children and shared over 45 years together before his passing on Oct. 20, 1991.Caring for family and home came first in Helen’s life. She was a member of the former First Baptist Church in Canton. Helen loved her pet cats and especially enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and crossword puzzles. Surviving are three children; Robert (Mary) Finney of Leesburg, FL, Nancy Frey, Sayre and Gary Dickerson, Canton; son-in-law, Anthony Migliaccio, Secane, PA; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband Harold, she was predeceased by two daughters; Teresa “Terry” Rosbach in 2003 and Ann Marie Migliaccio in 2004, two grandchildren; Susan Plossl in 2002 and Anthony Migliaccio, III in 2006, also five siblings.

The funeral service was held at Pepper Funeral Home, Canton, with Rev. Herbert Eby officiating
on Saturday, Sept 2, followed by burial in Ellenton Cemetery.
